Please note that Christmas and New Years, in addition to regular Sundays, are Holy Days of obligation for all Catholics in Canada.  Catholics are expected to attend a regular Sunday Mass every weekend, including this and next weekend, as well as a Mass on Christmas Eve or Christmas Day and a Mass on New Years Eve or New Years Day.  A Christmas or New Years Mass does not replace a Sunday Mass; nor does a Sunday Mass replace a Christmas or New Years Mass. All are days of obligation.
