On behalf of the Parish, I welcome you to Holy Name of Mary in Almonte. If you are reading this, then very likely your faith and God’s generous graces have brought you here. Welcome!
Newcomers have often remarked on finding “a home” at Holy Name of Mary, so naturally we look forward to sharing our faith in the Lord with you too. A cursory look at the Scriptures tell us that God wants everyone to join His family. Our Parish family is growing because God is still calling.
I pray that you are greatly enriched by accepting this invitation to participate in our Parish family. May the Lord bless you and keep you, your family and all those you love, in His peace.

Fr. Connor O'Hara
I was raised in Stittsville, not terribly far from Almonte. I spent most of my life there before heading off to the University of Ottawa, and then to St. Augustine's Seminary of Toronto. I spent six of the best years of my life at Seminary studying, praying, and having a blast with my classmates there.
I also serve as the Director of Vocations for the Archdiocese. It is a tremendous blessing to be able to accompany other men who feel called by the Lord to serve Christ and His Church.
In my spare time, I love to play hockey, camp, hike, ski, and enjoy nature. A cigar and wee dram from time to time does not hurt, either.
